FAQs

Are there early bird tickets?

Yes, early bird tickets will be on sale from 01 April 2024 and are R50 for each day. The early bird special will end on 25 April 2024. From that moment on, tickets will be R80 online.

Will tickets be sold at the door?

Yes, you will be able to buy tickets at the door. Tickets on the day will be R100 if you are purchasing them through Quicket or using a card and R120 if you decide to purchase them in cash.

If I bought a ticket for the Saturday, do I need a ticket for the Sunday and visa versa?

Yes, you would need to purchase a ticket for each day.

Is this a family friendly event?

We love sharing the art with everyone and kids are no exception. Some of the venues will have kids activities (notably Asisebenze and August House on Sunday 26 May). Children under 18 can attend for free but please ensure that you have a ticket for them, as tickets will be scanned at the door. Children under 18 will not be allowed into any venue unattended.

How do the shuttles work on each days programme?

The shuttles connect all the spaces on the day. The shuttles operate as a hop-on-hop-off service and they will depart from the main entrance of each venue. We will put up the shuttle routes closer to the time.

The event programme runs over two days. Is every space open on every day?

No, there are different venues open on different days and each has their own unique programming. Here is a brief rundown:

Saturday 25 May - 10:30 to 17:00 - Bag Factory Artists’ Studios // Grayscale // Play Braamfontein // The Rand Club // Transwerke Studios // 11 Alexander Street // WML

Sunday 26 May - 10:30am to 17:00 - Asisebenze Art Atelier // August House Artists Studios // Ellis House // Living Artists Emporium // Oovookoo // Victoria Yards

Where do I park?
