Whats happening at Creative Uprising Hub?

About the Creative Uprising Hub

The Queen Victoria Hospital heritage Art Deco building has been transformed into The Creative Uprising Hub (at Transwerke). The Creative Uprising Hub offers Makers & Visual Artists affordable office spaces and runs programmes to support the enterprises from a market access, business and product design perspective. The Hub aims to form a network that will drive the growth of creative industries in the province, providing more jobs, more education, and more opportunities.

The Creative Uprising at Transwerke is located within the Constitution Hill Precinct at Sam Hancock Street, Braamfontein. You are welcome to park in the underground parking of Constitution Hill and walk down to the Studios. There is limited on-street parking outside of the Transwerke building itself. There will be a shuttle which will take you around to the other venues and which departs from the entrance to the Transwerke building. Please be advised that the last shuttle will leave at 4pm and do one loop. If you miss that shuttle, you will need to make your own way back to your vehicle.

The shuttle from RMB Latitudes will go from the fair to Transwerke and back.
